The event is a set of certified road and turf races held at The Real Life Center in Selma, TX, on 2027-09-25. Distances offered include:
- 10 km (6.2 miles)
- 5 km
The 10 km course is two loops of the 5 km course. Chip timing is used for the competitive 10 km and the 5 km run, while the 5 km fun walk is not chip timed. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal. Awards are offered for competitive divisions only, with overall male and female winners, overall masters winners, and five year age group awards for the top three in each gender. Age group awards are based on chip time, overall awards are based on gun time, and no duplication of awards is allowed.
Course surfaces include asphalt, loose sand like clay, and grass turf, and the course will close after a set cutoff for each event to ensure participant safety. Registration for the listed events is free. Fundraisers who donate $25 or more are eligible to receive a performance running hat. Live announcements and a post race party are planned. Strollers and dogs are not allowed in the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
