Real Life 5K/10K
The Real Life 5K/10K takes place on 09/12/2026 at the Real Life Center, 16765 Lookout Road, Selma, TX 78154. The event offers certified courses; the 10K is two loops of the 5K course. Course surfaces include asphalt, loose sand-like clay, and grass turf.
Distances:
- 10 km (6.2 miles)
- 5 km (run, chip timed)
- 5 km (fun walk, not chip timed)
Competitive run entries use chip timing, and all finishers receive a custom finisher medal. Award structure for competitive races includes overall male and female winners, overall masters winners, and five-year age group awards for the first three finishers in each gender. Age group awards are based on chip time; overall winners are based on gun time. Fun Walk participants are not eligible for awards. No duplication of awards.
For participant safety, the course will close at 8:00 PM; published cutoff times are two hours for the 10K and shorter cutoffs for the 5K and Fun Walk. Packet pickup is available Friday 09/11/2026 from 3:45 PM to 7:00 PM at the Real Life Center, with additional pickup on race day beginning at 5:00 PM. The event is listed as sold out and there will be no race day registration.
