REAL LIFE 5k/10k 2026
The REAL LIFE 5k/10k takes place Saturday September 12, 2026 in Selma, Texas. The event is organised by Real Life Community Outreach and uses the turf course at Retama Park racetrack while the event base is The Real Life Center, 16765 Lookout Road, Selma, TX 78154.
The event offers certified 5K and 10K courses with professional competitive timing provided by IAAP. Competitive divisions include 5-year age group awards by gender. All finishers on course receive custom finisher medals. A post-race gathering with a DJ is planned. Packet pickup options are listed as an early pickup (TBD) and on-site pickup at the Real Life Center on race day evening. Strollers and dogs are not permitted on course.
The event exists to support the charitable work of Real Life Community Outreach, a tax exempt 501(c)(3). The organisation's stated activities include food assistance, vocational training, and kids camps in low-income neighbourhoods. All proceeds from this event are directed to the charity and its programs. A challenge grant will match qualifying new or increased sponsor donations and participating fundraisers.
