Read Feed Run Turkey Trot
The Read Feed Run Turkey Trot is a community running event held on Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2026, at Ginty Field, 45 Woodland Avenue, Morristown, New Jersey. The event is in its 20th year and raises support for Literacy Volunteers of Morris County and the Interfaith Food Pantry Network.
The event program includes multiple race options and activities:

- Kids Trot for 12 and under, 100 m
Registration opens September 2, 2026. Standard registration for the 5K and the 1 Mile closes November 22, 2026; registration for the Kids Trot remains available through the event day. Published entry fees are $35 for the 5K, $30 for the 1 Mile, and $10 for the Kids Trot.
Packet pick-up and on-site registration are offered on event morning. An awards ceremony takes place after the races. The event combines timed and untimed options and is organized as a holiday morning community gathering that supports local literacy and food assistance programs.
