RBC Race for the Kids 4M Presented by NYRR - Central Park, New York
The event takes place on April 19, 2026, at Central Park near the Naumburg Bandshell on West 72nd Street in Manhattan. It includes a timed four mile race and a separate one mile family health walk that is open to the public and free to register.

RBC Race for the Kids began in New York in 2009 and has expanded into a series of more than 25 events worldwide. More than 525,000 participants have raised over $84 million for youth charities globally. The race’s charity partner for this edition is Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s pediatric program, MSK Kids.
Registration notes indicate a Member-Only Standby List that is currently full, and a dedicated internal registration process for RBC employees launching in March 2026. The event serves as a qualifier in the 9+1 program.
Race materials may be picked up prior to the event at the NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the New Balance Run Hub at 320 West 57th Street, with additional race-day pickup available near the Naumburg Bandshell. Bibs include timing tags and participants receive a New Balance short sleeve shirt at pickup. Bag check is offered on race day with clear bag size limits; NYRR is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
Live, unofficial runner tracking will be available through the NYRR app and official results will be posted after the event. Awards are presented to top finishers in the overall men, women, and nonbinary divisions, with age-group awards claimable after the race.
