Razom Freedom Run 5K Chicago 2026
The Razom Freedom Run 5K holds its inaugural Chicago edition on August 23, 2026, at Busse Woods Picnic Grove #32 in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The event is hosted by Ukrainian Running Club Chicago in collaboration with Ukrainian Running Club Miami and is presented as a community solidarity run.

- 100 meters kids race - free, ages 12 and under
Registration details from the organizer: the timed 5K registration opens June 17 and closes July 20 with a fee of $40; kids 100 meters registration opens July 5 and closes on the event day and carries no fee. Participants receive an official finisher medal, a race bib, professional chip timing, post-race refreshments, and awards for top finishers.
The event states that 100% of registration fees and additional donations support the Protez Foundation, which provides prosthetic care and rehabilitation for Ukrainians who lost limbs as a result of war. Participants must be 14 years of age or older to participate independently; those under 14 may participate only if accompanied by a registered adult.
