Island Prostate Centre Father’s Day Walk/Run for Prostate Cancer
The event is scheduled for Sunday, June 21, 2026, and is the 23rd annual Father’s Day Walk/Run supporting Island Prostate Centre programs for local patients and their families.
The format offers short routes suitable for families and passes through Camosun College and surrounding trails. Strollers and pets are welcome. A pancake breakfast is included with registration.
Distances offered:
- 3K walk or run
- 5K walk or run
Registration is available in two periods with set fees: an early bird fee of $30 per person and a regular fee of $40 per person. Children aged 12 and under are free but must be registered because a signed waiver is required for each child participant. There is a registration option that waives the fee when a participant commits to raise $150; participants who raise $150 or more will receive a side of bacon with breakfast.
Since 2003, more than 7,000 participants have raised over $1.4 million to support access to guidance, support, and care on Vancouver Island. The event helps fund services that rely primarily on private donor support and that remain focused on the local community. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
