Event details
The event is scheduled for April 11, 2026 at Royal Roads University in Colwood, Victoria, BC. The race base is the grassy field at the campus entrance, address 7a University Drive, Victoria. The event takes place on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Esquimalt and Songhees First Nations. There is ample parking in the adjacent dirt track; pay parking is in effect and parking volunteers will assist. Race bibs are handed out at the registration tent in the field and a government-issued photo ID is required to collect a bib.

Distances:
- 11 km (long course)
- 6 km (short course)
- 1 km (kids race)
The long course has about 300 m of vertical gain and an aid station at the 7.5 km mark offering water, Gatorade, and small snacks. The short course has about 100 m of vertical gain and no aid stations. The event is cupless; participants should bring a personal drinking container or may purchase a cup from the Frontrunners merch tent. Registration fees for the kids race are directed to the South Vancouver Island Nature Trails Society. Post-race food and prize draws are provided at the finish area.
