Victoria - Royal Roads
This trail running event takes place on April 11, 2026 at Royal Roads University in Colwood, Victoria, British Columbia. The start area is the grassy field at the campus entrance. The event is held on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Esquimalt and Songhees First Nations.
Offered course options:
- 11 km long course, approximately 300 m vertical gain.
- 6 km short course, approximately 100 m vertical gain.
- 1 km kids race.
The long course includes one aid station at the 7.5 km mark providing water, Gatorade and small snacks. There are no aid stations on the short course. The event operates a cupless policy; participants must bring a drink container or may purchase a cup on site.
Logistics noted by the organizer include ample parking on an adjacent dirt track with paid parking in effect and parking volunteers on site, bib pickup at the registration tent on the field with a requirement to show government issued photo identification, and a downloadable course map. Registration fees for the kids race are directed to the South Vancouver Island Nature Trails Society. Post-race food and a prize draw are scheduled after finish.
