Registration is free. Registration opens October 3, 2026 and closes November 26, 2026. Participants who register before November 6 will receive a Turkey Trot medal. Organizers note that registration helps ensure there are enough medals and refreshments for attendees.
The event began informally during the COVID period as a neighborhood tradition intended to bring neighbors together and provide a way to be active on the holiday morning. Activities described include running, walking, and a short children’s run. The description focuses on local participation and family-friendly options rather than competition.
