Event Overview
The Raleigh Run for Rare 5K is a charity event hosted by the National MPS Society. It features a timed 5K run and a 1 mile walk. The in-person event takes place at Lake Crabtree Park in Morrisville, North Carolina.
Events Offered
Participants can choose from several events:
- A timed 5K run.
- A 1 mile walk.
- A virtual 5K and 1 mile walk option, which can be completed anytime before the event date, in increments if desired.
- A picnic-only option for after the race.
Registration and Logistics
Registration is open to individuals and teams of all ages and abilities. Packet pickup and day-of registration will be available on-site. T-shirts are guaranteed for the first 300 in-person registrants. A post-race family picnic is held for attendees and volunteers.
