Raleigh Run for Rare 5K : Morrisville, NC
The National MPS Society organizes a community event at Lake Crabtree Park that includes a timed 5K run and a 1 mile walk. The event offers on site packet pickup and day of registration, and a picnic for attendees and volunteers after the activities.
Registration can be individual or team based. A virtual participation option lets participants complete the 5K at a location and schedule of their choice ahead of the event date. Participants are encouraged, but not required, to share photos of their 5K route on social media using the tag #MPSAwareness.

Event shirts are provided with specific deadlines and guarantees: shirts are guaranteed for the first 300 in person registrants, and virtual participants who register by February 23 will receive shirts in time. The on site 5K course is run over two laps. Several sponsorship levels are offered with different benefits and participant allowances, including corporate and team tiers.
