Event Overview
The event is called Medal Madness and takes place in Raleigh, North Carolina. It features two race distances: a 5K and a Half Marathon. The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2026, and is held at Green Hills County Park.
Course Details
The entire course is on concrete. Both distances use an out-and-back format on the same route. The 5K course consists of two out-and-back repetitions of a 0.78-mile segment. The Half Marathon consists of six out-and-back repetitions of a 1.09-mile segment. There is an overall course time limit of 3 hours.
Venue and Logistics
The event address is 9300 Deponie Dr, Raleigh, NC 27614. The park gate opens at 8:00 AM. Parking is available at the playground on the north side of the park. Bathrooms are also located near the playground. All participants must register online in advance; there is no on-site registration available. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race start and ends 10 minutes before it begins.
