Rainbow Run 5K - Twin Cities Pride
The Rainbow Run 5K is part of Twin Cities Pride and takes place on June 28, 2026 in Minneapolis. The 5K course starts at BF Nelson Park (434 NE Main St) and follows the parade route down Hennepin Avenue to finish at MCTC. A Kid's Rainbow Dash runs for two blocks on Hennepin from 11th to Spruce. A virtual 5K option is also available.

Registration options include in person and virtual entry for the 5K. All registrations include a t-shirt and a medal. Current listed fees are $46 for in person 5K registration and $55 for virtual 5K, with the Kid's Rainbow Dash in person fee listed as $15. Packet pick-up is scheduled at the Pride Cultural Arts Center.
Free shuttle service between the beginning and end of the race is provided; shuttle times will be announced. Participants may form teams or raise funds individually. Spectators may watch along the parade route. Proceeds support year-round programs including Rainbow Wardrobe, youth scholarships, youth game nights, the Trans and Intersex Resource Network, and free community meals.
