Chanhassen Turkey Trot
The Chanhassen Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving-area running event held in Chanhassen, Minnesota. The start and finish are at Chanhassen High School, 2200 Lyman Blvd, Chanhassen, MN. The main race is a chip-timed 5K held mostly on paved trail. A kids dash is also offered.

There is no event day packet pick up. Participant gear must be collected at pre-event packet pick up; if gear is not collected there may be a fee to have it mailed later. Event gear options include a classic t-shirt or an upgrade to a thin-tec soft polyester pullover. A local bakery provides donuts at the finish line.
The 5K has a course time limit of 1 hour 20 minutes. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and in age groups; age categories start at 10 & under and extend to 80 plus. All participants must sign an online waiver. Headphones and music devices are allowed but may reduce a participant’s ability to hear course directions and hazards. Dogs are not allowed; strollers are permitted for walkers and joggers only and must start in the back of the starting corral with a guardian waiver.
The event supports The Bond Between, a 501(c)(3) animal rescue, and is part of the nationwide Thankful Turkey tradition where results are aggregated on a national leader board. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
