Rahr Brewing Company Oktoberfest 5K Social Run/Walk - August
The event is a social, untimed run/walk held in downtown Fort Worth and presented as a monthly training run for the larger Oktoberfest 5K. The course is approximately 3ish miles and uses streets that remain open to traffic; the event is not chip timed.
The social run includes a group-led route with beer pacers, two draft beers for participants aged 21 and over, and a commemorative pint glass. Breakfast tacos are provided by That Taco Dude. Each month there are games and a raffle; winners must be present to play or collect prizes.
Participants should bring valid identification for alcohol service. Kids in strollers are welcome and attend free. Dogs are permitted only in outdoor communal patio areas at the Flying Saucer and must be leashed and tagged. The event operates rain or shine.
