Trinity 5000 Summer Series Week 7 : Fort Worth, TX
The Trinity 5000 Summer Series is a weekly community running series on the Trinity Trails Zero Mile Marker in Fort Worth. Founded in 1985, the series runs on Thursday evenings from June 4 through August 20, 2026, and includes a sequence of 12 races held at the same trail location near 600 Congress Street.
Distances offered
- 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles)
- 1K Kids Fun Run (free for participants)
The event uses a flat, largely unshaded course with water stops near miles 1 and 2. Free parking, soft drinks, and post-race refreshments are provided. Some races have participant caps; the June 4 race cap is 400 and on-site registration may not be available if a 250-runner cap is reached.
Registration options include single-race entries and a complete 12-race series. Series entrants use a single reusable custom bib for all races. Awards are given each week for overall and age group placings, a point series is tracked after Week 3, and a Series Survivor Award is given to participants who are registered and take part in all 12 races.
The event includes family-friendly features and a free kids 1K, with recycled medals for all child participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
