Event Overview
The Red, White and Blue Half Marathon takes place in Fort Worth, Texas. The event venue is Panther Island Pavilion.
Race Distances
Participants can choose from several distances:
- Kids Dash (approximately 50 meters, for children 10 and under)
- 2 Mile Run
- 4 Mile Run
- 8 Mile Run
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
There is also a "Volunteer then Run" option for the 4-mile distance and a Virtual Run.
Event Details
The 4-mile, 8-mile, and half marathon events are chip-timed. The Kids Dash and 2-mile run are not chip-timed. All finishers receive a race medal and an event T-shirt.
Top overall male and female finishers in the 4-mile, 8-mile, and half marathon receive a Bigfoot trophy. Age group awards are given for these three distances, and there is a special recognition for the top male and female masters (age 40+) finishers.
On-site packet pickup is offered before the event. The course is described as potentially having mixed surfaces, including pavement, crushed granite, and dirt paths. Aid stations with water are located along the route. After the race, snacks and refreshments are available. A DJ provides music and announcements.
Youth pricing is available for the 2-mile, 4-mile, and 8-mile distances for participants aged 12 and under. Group registration discounts are offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
