Hell's Half Acre Half Marathon & 5K
The Hell's Half Acre Half Marathon & 5K is an annual summer night running event held in Fort Worth, Texas. The race takes place at Trinity Park Pavilion #3 and utilizes the Trinity Trails system. Participants can choose from several event distances and formats:
- Half Marathon
- Half Marathon Two-Person Relay
- 5K Run/Walk
The half marathon course consists of a four-loop circuit, where each lap covers 3.275 miles through Trinity Park and along the Trinity Trails. For the half marathon relay, each participant completes two laps of the circuit, alternating with their teammate. The 5K is open to both runners and walkers.
All participants receive professional chip timing provided by Cox Racing Services, with live and final results posted online. Registration includes a finisher medal (5-inch for the half marathon and relay, 3-inch for the 5K), a race shirt, and post-race refreshments. Awards are presented to top finishers in overall categories, including Masters and Grand Masters, as well as various age groups ranging from 12 and under to 80 and over. Relay awards are available for the top male, female, and coed teams.
