Hell's Half Acre Half Marathon & 5K
The 11th annual Hell's Half Acre Half Marathon, Relay, and 5K is scheduled for Saturday, July 17, 2027, at Trinity Park Pavilion #3 in Fort Worth, Texas. The event is presented by Cox Running Club and is organized as an evening night race with post race refreshments and music.
Distances offered:
- 5K Run/Walk with finisher medal and shirt
- Half Marathon four loops of a 3.275 mile circuit
- Half Marathon Two Person Relay alternating two laps per teammate
The half marathon uses a four loop course featuring a 3.275 mile circuit through Trinity Park and the Trinity Trails. Relay teams alternate laps on the same circuit; each relay participant completes two laps.
Entries include timing and participant items: the 5K includes a custom 3 inch finisher medal and a unisex race shirt; the half marathon and relay include a custom 5 inch finisher medal, a technical race shirt, and chip timing. The relay entry includes a timing chip baton and team awards. Timing and results are professionally chip timed by Cox Racing Services with live and final results provided online.
Awards are given overall and by age group. Categories include overall Male and Female, Masters and Grand Masters, and top three age group finishers for specified age brackets. Early packet pickup is Friday, July 16, 2027, 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Luke's Locker in Fort Worth.
