The Racin' to Beat Cancer race takes place on October 3, 2026, at Burke Lake Park in Fairfax Station, VA. The event benefits We Rock Cancer and awards points toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, Endurance, and Back of the Pack Series, as well as the Fall Series. A virtual race option is offered. Walkers are welcome. Registered participants receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (DriFit) event shirt, and chip timing.

Course and logistics
The courses run on trails at Burke Lake Park. The route is described as fairly flat and well maintained, with some roots to navigate. The 5k and 10k are single out-and-back courses; the half marathon is an out-and-back run completed twice. Water stations are provided as follows: nine along the half marathon course, three on the 10k, and two on the 5k. Gatorade will be available at some water stations. Restrooms are located at the far end of the parking lot from Shelter A. Packet pickup is available at the event; participants are advised to arrive about one hour before their event to check in. Race day registration is available, though T-shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for same-day registrants. Live results and final results with series points will be posted after the race.
