St. Louis Hawks 5K and Fun Run
The 13th annual St. Louis Hawks 5K and Fun Run takes place in October 2026 at St. Louis Catholic School, 2901 Popkins Lane, Alexandria VA 22306. The event raises funds for academic enrichment and to supplement student activities in partnership with the St. Louis PTO. It was created in 2014 by school staff including a physical education teacher, a school nurse, and a cross-country coach.

- K9 Companion (3.1 Miles)
- 5k Virtual (3.1 Miles)
- 1.5 M Virtual (1.5 Miles)
Awards are presented to top male and female finishers, the top faculty finisher, and age group winners. Registration for the races opens July 27 and closes September 16; registering by September 16 guarantees a t shirt and prices increase beginning September 17. There are no same-day registrations. Family of four race registration options are available. Packet pick-up is scheduled for October 2 at the pre-race spaghetti dinner.
A pre-race spaghetti dinner will be held on October 2 in the school gymnasium. Dinner tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 5–14 when purchased by September 25; ticket prices increase by $5 after that date. Children under 5 eat free.
