The Westmont Park District has partnered with the local nonprofit People’s Resource Center so that proceeds from the race benefit neighbors in need in the community. People’s Resource Center provides basic needs assistance such as food, shelter, and clothing, and also offers job, computer, and literacy training programs plus art empowerment classes for residents in DuPage County.
