Race To the Flag
Race To the Flag is a single-day running event held on May 30, 2027 at Ty Warner Park, 800 Blackhawk Dr., Westmont, Illinois. The event features a 3.1 miles course offered in multiple entry categories.
Categories available include a standard 5K, a youth category, a category for participants aged 5 and under with no fee, and a Military Veterans category with a reduced fee. Registration opens October 7, 2026. Most categories close for registration on May 2, 2027, while the 5 and under category accepts registrations through May 30, 2027. Published registration fees vary by category.
The Westmont Park District is partnered with the local nonprofit People’s Resource Center. Proceeds from the race support neighbors in DuPage County. The People’s Resource Center provides basic needs assistance such as food, shelter, and clothing support, and offers programs including job training, computer and literacy training, and art empowerment classes.
