Event Overview
The Santa Hustle Chicago takes place at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois. This festive event includes multiple distances designed for different age groups and preferences. The race features holiday-themed elements throughout the course, including cheerful volunteers and holiday music.
Participants receive a variety of themed items as part of their registration. All runners are provided with a long-sleeve performance shirt, a beanie, and a finisher medal. Distances available for participants include:
- 10 km
- 5 km
- Kids Dash (1 km)
The Kids Dash is a 1 km run specifically for children aged 2-10 years. These young participants receive a long-sleeve shirt, a Santa hat and beard, a race bib, and a finisher medal. Parents may run alongside their children during this event.
Logistics and Awards
A gear check service is available for all participants. The course includes water and aid stations to provide hydration. At the finish line, cookies, candy, and hot cocoa are served to runners.
The event is officially timed using RFID technology. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female winners, as well as the top three overall masters male and female winners (ages 40+). Additionally, first-place age group awards are provided for both genders in categories ranging from 10 and under to 70+. Top finisher awards are not provided for the Kids Dash.
Parking is available at the Soldier Field Tailgate Parking Lot. The event also encourages carpooling, public transit, or ride-share services for transportation to the venue. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
