The Santa Hustle Chicago event is a holiday-themed, officially timed road race at Soldier Field (1410 Special Olympics Dr, Chicago, IL 60605) on December 5, 2026. Distances offered include:
- 10K
- 5K
- Kids Dash (1K) for ages up to 12
All participants receive event apparel and a finisher medal; this year’s long-sleeve shirt is produced by Headsweats. Kids Dash entrants receive a long-sleeve shirt, a Santa hat and beard, a race bib, and a finisher medal. A beanie is listed among race swag for general participants. Gear check is available.
Packet pick-up is offered before the event on December 4, 2026 (location and time to be announced) and on race day. Packets can be shipped for a fee of $15.95; reserved race-day packet pick-up also carries a $15.95 fee per packet. Groups picking up six or more packets should provide participant details in advance.
The course includes water and aid stations and volunteer support along the route. Cookies, candy, and hot cocoa are provided at the finish area. Timing is managed with RFID chips attached to bibs by Laurel Timing; live results are posted during the event and official results are posted within 24 hours. Awards are presented to top overall and masters finishers and to first-place age group finishers. The official charity partner for 2026 is to be determined.
