Event Overview
The Race to Share the Gospel Around the World is a multi-format event supporting The Tide ministry's outreach efforts. The proceeds from the 2026 event will benefit the organization's programming in Thailand.
Event Structure
The event includes several participation options.
In-person events on Saturday, May 16, 2026:
- A 5K run/walk at Norlo Park in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania.
- A 1-mile fun run/walk at the same location. Participants in these in-person events receive a free lunch.
Virtual challenge events from May 16 to May 31, 2026:
- A 16-day virtual challenge where participants run, walk, hike, or swim a total of 13 miles from their location.
- A separate Ride for The Tide Virtual Challenge for cycling.
Other Participation Options
Other registration categories include a Cheerleader option for prayer support and a Student Ministry Sponsor option for youth groups, where the top fundraising group wins a pizza party.
Registration Details
A single registration fee allows participation in up to three of the available events. Standard registration fees are $35 for most categories, with discounted rates for children and youth.
