Santa Cruz Turkey Trot
The Santa Cruz Turkey Trot offers participants the choice of three different distances:
- 10 km running race
- 5 km running race
- 1 km kids race
The courses are flat out-and-back routes that start and finish at the back entrance of Natural Bridges State Park. Participants run through the state park and continue toward West Cliff Drive, which provides views of the ocean.
Participants in the 5 km and 10 km events receive signature Santa Cruz Track Club finisher socks. The event awards prizes to the top three overall finishers in these categories. For the 1 km kids race, all participants receive finisher ribbons.
Packet pickup is available the day before the event at the Santa Cruz Running Company on Soquel Drive. Runners who collect their bibs at this location receive a ten percent discount at the store. Registration and bib pickup are also available on the morning of the event at the race headquarters, located at the intersection of Natural Bridges Drive and Delaware Avenue.
