RUN FOR PIE 2026
Run For Pie takes place on November 26, 2026 in Soquel, California, and is presented as the 13th annual Thanksgiving Day race. The event is sponsored by Brooks Running and Beckmann's and is located at 401 Soquel San Jose Rd, Soquel, CA 95073.
Distances offered include:
- 5K, community run or walk, registration fee $35.
- 0.5 mile, Turkey Chase for kids, registration fee $8.
- 1 mile, Pie Mile: four laps, one pie per lap; relay teams of four.
All participants receive a slice of pumpkin pie at the finish. The Pie Mile on the track requires eating one piece of pie per completed lap; teams for the relay consist of four individuals, and each team member must register separately and include the team name after their last name during registration.
The event benefits Second Harvest Food Bank and the Soquel High School Track Team. Proceeds from the kids 1/2 mile are designated entirely for Second Harvest Food Bank, with an expressed goal to donate meals through the fundraiser. Registration is capped due to high demand.
