Race for Life Stevenage 5k
Race for Life Stevenage is a 5k fundraising event taking place on Sunday 05 July 2026 at Fairlands Valley Park in Stevenage. Entry is for people aged 16 and over and the listed entry fee is £15.99. Participants have a minimum fundraising target of £50.00.
The start and finish are on grass near the Broadhall Way carpark of Fairlands Valley Park Showground, between Broadhall Way and Six Hills Way. The course uses a mix of paved pathways and grassy terrain; the course map is subject to change. The event notes that there is no time requirement, so participants may walk, jog, or run at their own pace.
Facilities on site include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are permitted and the route is suitable for pushchairs. The course is deemed wheelchair accessible with assistance because of grassy sections and some slopes. On-site accessibility provisions include sunflower wristbands and trained Event Managers, and a QR code will provide British Sign Language stage content.
Travel options include event car parking accessed via Broadhall Way (postcode SG2 9BN), a recommended bus and walking route from Stevenage town bus station to the park, and a roughly 30 minute walk from Stevenage train station. Bike racks are available by the lakeside cafe.
