Course and facilities
The course starts at The Forum Hertfordshire and follows pavements along College Lane before joining The Alban Way. The route continues via Wilkins Green Lane, Smallford Lane, Sleapcross Gardens, the A414 footpath and Comet Way, then returns along The Alban Way to race headquarters. The description notes approximately 3 metres of climbing on Wilkins Green Lane and a largely flat, straight section on the A414 footpath. Organisers provide custom medals, free event photos, finish-line snacks and post-race goodies. Free parking is available on site.
