The brainstrust Bass Belle 10 miler is a chip timed, in-person race held in Bassingbourn, Cambridgeshire on 29 November 2026. The event is organised by brainstrust - the brain cancer people and all proceeds support the charity's services for people affected by brain tumours.
The course is described as flat and fast, consisting of 10 miles in total: 8.5 miles on road and 1.5 miles off road. The route passes through local villages in South Cambridgeshire and is intended to allow runners to establish a steady pace soon after the start. The race is open to runners aged 16 and over and has a maximum field of 450 places.
Runners receive a race pack by post before the event. Finishers are awarded a bespoke medal and are given water and chocolate items at the finish. There are category winner trophies and a new trophy for the highest fundraiser, and cash prizes are offered for beating the course records, currently 52.02 for men and 58.23 for women.
