Preston Race for Life : Avenham and Miller Park
This event takes place in Avenham and Miller Park, Preston, on Saturday 06 Jun 2026. The course starts and finishes in Avenham Park near the Pavilion Café and passes through Frenchwood Recreational Ground and Miller Park on a mix of surfaced paths and grass. Gentle undulations and riverside views along the River Ribble are part of the route.

Entry is open to people aged 16 and over. The listed entry prices range from £11.00 to £17.49 and there is a minimum fundraising target of £50. Events are chip timed.
There is no designated on-site parking. Public pay and display car parks are available within a short walk, including Fishergate Car Park, Preston Railway Station Car Park and Avenham Car Park. Blue badge parking spaces are available in these major car parks. Limited bike racks are available at the Pavilion Café and more cycle parking is available at Preston Train Station.
Facilities at the event site include refreshments, toilets, bag drop, showers, dogs allowed and areas suitable for pushchairs. The course includes multiple steep inclines over 1:6 metres and is not suitable for wheelchair users; wheelchair users can access the event site and Pavilion Café to spectate. Sunflower wristbands, trained Event Managers and BSL stage content via QR code are provided to support accessibility. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
