Race for Life Preston takes place on Saturday 6 June 2026 in Avenham and Miller Park, Preston. The event is open to people aged 16 and over and features park and riverside running across surfaced paths and grass.

The 10k follows a double lap of the 5k route and passes through Frenchwood Recreational Ground and Miller Park. The course includes gentle undulations and runs alongside the River Ribble. The start and finish areas are located in Avenham Park, with the meeting point in front of the Pavilion Café.
Entry fees listed for this event are £17.49 for adults and £11.00 for children, with a minimum fundraising target of £50.00. There is no designated event car park; several public pay and display car parks are within a short walk, including Fishergate Car Park, Preston Railway Station Car Park and Avenham Car Park. Blue badge parking is available in those car parks. An EV charging point is available in Avenham Car Park, Syke Street.
Facilities noted for the event include refreshments, toilets, bag drop and showers. The course is not suitable for wheelchair users because of terrain and steep inclines; wheelchair users can access the event site and Pavilion Café to spectate.
