Race for Life Harrogate : The Stray

The 10k is a double lap of the 5k course. The start and finish are on grass. The route combines grass, tarmac paths and undulated ground. It is mostly flat, with one area that has a slight incline over a bridge. The event is chip timed.
Facilities on site include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are allowed. The course is suitable for pushchairs. There is no bag drop, no showers and general parking is not available at the venue. There are no bike racks.
Accessibility provisions include a wheelchair accessible route with assistance recommended because much of the course is on grass that may be affected by weather. Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee, event managers are trained Dementia Friends and a QR code on the main event site provides British Sign Language stage content.
The meeting point is within one of the open fields on The Stray near where Oatland Drive meets Slingsby Walk. The nearest train station is Harrogate, approximately an 18 minute walk to the site.
