Leeds Santa Dash
The Leeds Santa Dash is a festive fun run held in Leeds as part of Kevin Sinfield's 7in7: Together Challenge. The event forms part of the final day's celebrations and is presented by Run For All, starting at Leeds Beckett University Headingley Campus and finishing at AMT Headingley Stadium.
The event is organised as a short community run of 3KM that brings together families, friends and supporters to raise funds for organisations working with people affected by Motor Neurone Disease. Funds from the 2025 Leeds Santa Dash are directed to Kev's 7in7: Together Challenge and to six partner charities: the MND Association, Leeds Hospitals Charity, Irish MND Association, Darby Rimmer Foundation, My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, and MND Scotland.
Entries were open to all ages and abilities. There is no age restriction for entries; children aged 0 to 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants receive a Santa suit (excluding under 3s) and an exclusive bauble finisher item and chocolate. Race numbers and Santa suits were distributed from Leeds Beckett Sport at Headingley Campus in the days before the event.
Practical notes provided for participants include a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish, no baggage store on site, clothing left at the start will be collected and donated, and guidance about safe use of bone conducting headphones so marshals and emergency vehicles can be heard.
