About the race
Race for Life at Beveridge Park in Kirkcaldy is a community running event organised by Cancer Research UK, held on Sunday 09 May 2027. The event offers multiple route lengths and a raised fundraising target for participants.

The start and finish are on grass on the field adjacent to Kirkcaldy Rugby Club. The course loops around Beveridge Park, alternating between perimeter tarmac and large sections of grass, and passes the boating lake and play parks. There are hills on both the tarmac and grass sections, with a maximum gradient of 6%. In wet weather the grass may become soft or muddy; the grass sections can be avoided but doing so reduces the route by about 2 km per lap.
The event is chip-timed. Site facilities listed as available include refreshments, toilets, allowance for dogs, suitability for pushchairs, and wheelchair access with assistance. General event parking is not provided; the Beveridge Park Car Park is used for drop-offs and Blue Badge parking (approximately 70 m from site). The nearest train station is Kirkcaldy, about a 10 minute walk. A minimum fundraising target of £50 applies. Entry prices listed range from £5.50 to £8.74.
