Race for Life at Holyrood Park in Edinburgh takes place on Sunday 06 Jun 2027. The event offers two distances:

- 5k
The route starts with the first 1 km on grass with some uneven surfaces before joining a road route around Arthur's Seat. The course then follows mainly tarmac, provides open views, includes one notable incline, and finishes back on grass. The start and finish areas are on the main playing fields of Holyrood Park.
Parking is not available at the event; participants are advised to use city centre car parks. There is no drop off point and Blue Badge parking is not available at the venue. Pedestrian routes are open and a number of buses serve Holyrood Park; the closest train station is Edinburgh Waverley. Cycling facilities and bike racks are not available.
Available on-site facilities include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are allowed. The event is suitable for pushchairs and is wheelchair accessible with assistance. The site underfoot is generally flat and firm or soft; in wet weather grass sections may become soft or muddy. The route includes tarmac and grass and has inclines with a maximum gradient of 4 to 6 percent, which may require additional assistance.
