Sikhs in the City - Dawn to Dusk Marathon & Ultra 2026
The event uses a certified 2.014 km loop on mostly good tarmac. The course is described as undulating and wheelchair friendly. Chip timing is used and a large electronic board displays lap information as runners pass the start/finish.
Distances and medal criteria are lap-based. Medals are awarded for completing specified lap counts and awards are given for top finishers once minimum finish thresholds are met. The Marathon and Ultra performances count towards the 100 Marathon Club total.
Entries are limited: 299 places for the Dawn to Dusk races and 99 places for the 10 km, with a total capacity of 398. Team entries are capped to maintain safety, with a maximum of 20 teams. Minimum age is 18 years. Entries close on 25 November 2026. The organiser operates a no-refund, no-transfer policy; a one-year deferred place is offered for certain future events if notified in writing before race day.
Facilities at the start/finish include bag drop, toilets and a feeding station serving drinks, savouries, biscuits, chocolates, fruit, tea and coffee, and samosa/onion bhaji. There is a separate table for personal drinks. The venue has parking along the route with a request to park at least 100 m away next to the Mulalley & Co car park (IG8 8FA).
Fees are published per distance and team relay places allow up to five runners with a single team entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
