Sikhs In The City Dawn To Dusk Marathon & Ultra 2026
Sikhs In The City presents a multiple-lap road event held on a certified 2.014 km loop at the car park of Teresa Gavin House, Southend Road, Woodford Green (IG8 8FA). The course is described as undulating, wheelchair friendly, and mostly on good tarmac surface. Each lap finishes at a central start/finish area with a feeding station, bag drop and toilets.
Races are chip timed with live lap information available on an electronic board. On-course support includes marshals, paramedics and event insurance. Finishers receive a bespoke event T-shirt and a medal corresponding to completed laps. Entry limits are set to manage numbers on course: D2D races 299 entrants, 10 km 99 entrants (398 total). Entries close 25 November 2026. There is on-route parking; organisers request parking at least 100 m from the start/finish next to the Mulalley & Co car park.
The event offers the following distances and formats:
- 10 km - complete 5 laps
- 22 km (Half Marathon) - complete 11 laps
- Marathon (42 km) - complete 21 laps
- Ultra (50 km plus) - complete 25 or more laps
- Team Relay Ultra - fixed 50 km, 25 laps, teams up to five runners
A no-refund policy applies; a one-year deferred place is available for a future similar event. Volunteer places are free. Donations can sponsor race numbers or advertising on event shirts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
