Sikhs in the City Dawn to Dusk Marathon & Ultra 2026
This event takes place at the car park of Teresa Gavin House, Southend Road, Woodford Green IG8 8FA. The course is a certified 2.014 km loop that is undulating, mostly tarmac and wheelchair friendly. The event uses chip timing and displays lap information on an electronic board.
Distances offered include:
- 10 km
- 22 km (11 laps)
- Marathon (21 laps)
- Ultra (25 or more laps)
- Team Relay 50 km fixed distance, 25 laps, teams up to five runners
Entry is limited: 299 places for the Dawn to Dusk races and 99 for the 10 km, with a total cap of 398 entries. Team entries are limited to 20 teams. Minimum age is 18 years. Entries close on 25 November 2026 and no late or on the day entries are accepted. Race numbers are not posted and must be collected on race day together with the returnable timing chip.
There is a strict no refund and no transfer policy; a one year deferred place is available for specified future events. Fees are stated for each distance and a club offer provides one free entry for every ten registered club members. Refreshments, a bag drop, toilets, a feeding station and medical cover are provided. Awards, medals and event T shirts are included with stated conditions for when awards are issued. The marathon and ultra count towards 100 Marathon Club totals.
