Race for Life Brighton 5k
Race for Life Brighton is a 5k event at Stanmer Park on Sunday 28 June 2026. The event is open to participants aged 16 and over and has a minimum fundraising target of £50. Entry fees are shown as £15.99 for adults and £11.00 for children.
The start and finish are on grass in a field next to the playground by Lower Lodges Car Park West. The route runs through fields and woodland and includes cross country terrain with some steep inclines and uneven, potentially muddy or boggy paths. Because of the ground conditions and the slopes, the event is not suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs are not suitable.
Travel notes state that general event parking is being confirmed with the University of Sussex. Blue Badge parking is available inside the park in Lower Lodges Car Park West off Stoney Mere Way. The Brighton and Hove Breeze Route 78 stops near Stanmer Park Gates with an approximate two minute walk to the site; buses 25 and 28 run at weekends within about a five minute walk. A footpath from Falmer station provides an approximate eight minute walk to the park. Cycle parking stands are provided in several park car parks and by the Palm House.
On the day the event offers refreshments and toilets. Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee, Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends, and a QR code will give access to British Sign Language stage content. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training resources, community access, and a Race for Life medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
