Race for Life at Stanmer Park is an outdoor running event with multiple course options. The course runs across fields and woodland, with a grassy start and finish and sections of challenging cross country terrain. Public transport access includes the Brighton and Hove Breeze bus route 78 which serves Stanmer Park Gates on Sundays, buses 25 and 28 within a short walk, and a footpath from Falmer train station of about an 8 minute walk. Cycle parking stands are provided in several car parks and by the Palm House.
