Race for Campus Safety : Pullman, Washington
The event takes place on October 17, 2026, at 2000 Ott Rd in Pullman, Washington, on and around the WSU campus. It includes in-person and virtual options with multiple course lengths offered.

The 1K course is two laps around a loop near the Veterinary School parking lot and the adjoining park, with the same start and finish area used by the 5K and 10K courses. For safety, children 12 and under start first and older registrants start about two minutes later to allow space on the course. The 1K is timed but there are no time-based awards; children 12 and under receive a medal and a participation certificate.
The 5K and 10K routes tour the WSU campus and follow approximately two thirds paved streets and about one third graded gravel road. The 10K consists of two complete loops of the 5K course.
The virtual option allows participants to choose their own course and enter their own time. A music playlist is provided and the foundation offers social media engagement; the event supports efforts toward safer campuses. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
