Moscow Mountain Madness offers trail races on Moscow Mountain in Moscow, Idaho. The event is organized by Palouse Road Runners and is held on October 4, 2026 at 3443 Foothill Rd, Moscow, ID 83843. Courses run mostly on single-track trails with some faster logging roads and provide views of the Palouse.

The 50K route uses forest single-track and includes substantial climbs, frequent aid stations, and a requirement that participants be able to access a course GPX file during the race. There is a 10 hour overall cut-off for the 50K, equivalent to an average pace of about 18.66 minutes per mile; aid station cut-offs will be applied to help enforce pace and allow course breakdown. Both finish-line and an additional Four Corners aid station drop bag option are available; drop bags must be no larger than a shoe box and are collected at bib pick up.
Shirts are available as short-sleeve tech shirts for $20 if ordered by September 5; there is a unique shirt for 50K participants. Registration closes October 2 at 11:59 PM PT. Refunds and rollovers are not offered; registration insurance is available and distance-down changes are allowed without refund of the price difference. Awards are given to first place male, female, and nonbinary runners overall and masters for each distance. Volunteers are needed for parking, bib pickup, start/finish shifts, aid stations, and course marking or sweeping; organizers collect volunteer interest via a brief contact form.
