Queens Marathon Weekend 2026
Queens Marathon Weekend takes place in December 2026 over two days and includes road races in Queens, New York. The weekend features QDR 5K and 10K events at Flushing Meadows Corona Park on December 5 and the Queens Marathon plus the QDR Half Marathon in Long Island City on December 6. The marathon course will run on city streets near LaGuardia Community College.

- Full Marathon 26.2 miles
- Half Marathon 13.1 miles
- 10K 6.2 miles
- 5K 3.1 miles
The race organization moved the marathon from Flushing Meadows Corona Park to Long Island City because of continued flooding around Meadow Lake. Organizers describe the street race as a first step toward incorporating more Queens neighborhoods over time. The event has grown from about 500 participants in 2023 to over 2,000 attendees by 2025. Past editions have supported NYC Kids RISE and college savings accounts for Queens third graders.
Travel notes for participants note public transit as the preferred option for the Long Island City start and offer subway access points for both sites. For the park events, the Queens Museum parking lot and nearby lots are suggested. Awards are given to the top three overall and top three in age groups for male, female, and non-binary categories.
