Queens Marathon and QDR Half Marathon 2026
The Queens Marathon and QDR Half Marathon is a community-driven athletic event organized by the Queens Distance Runners. Taking place in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, the event serves as a central point for the Queens Crew Cup, a season-long points competition for local running clubs and crews. The races are held rain or shine, and participants have the option to represent specific teams during registration.
The event offers several distance options to accommodate different preferences:
- Full Marathon (scheduled for December)
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The course is located near the Queens Museum and the Unisphere. Participants who register at least three weeks before the event will have their names printed on their race bibs. The event provides live online results via email or text, along with video and finish line photographs available on the same day.
Awards are presented to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers in the overall category, as well as the top three in age groups ranging from 29 and under to 60 and over. The venue is accessible by car with parking available at the Queens Museum lot, or via public transportation by taking the 7 train to the Mets-Willets Point station.
