Queen City Fall Frolic 5K and Kids Dash
The event in Houghton is presented by IncredibleBank and includes a community 5K and a 1-mile kids dash. Both races start and finish at Kestner Waterfront Park, located at 1100 W Lakeshore Dr, Houghton, MI 49931.
The 5K is an out-and-back on the waterfront bike path along the Keweenaw Waterway. The turnaround point is just past the Super 8 Motel, where a water station will be available about halfway through the course. The kids dash follows an out-and-back route on the same waterfront path to the lift bridge and back.

Registration opens on 2026-08-07 and closes on 2026-10-24 for the 5K; the kids dash registration closes on 2026-10-24. Registration fees are $25.00 for the 5K and $10.00 for the kids dash. Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before, Friday 2026-10-23 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and race morning from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM. Awards will be given to the top three individuals in both the men's and women's 5K. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Copper Country Humane Society.
