Queen City Fall Frolic 5K and Kids Dash presented by IncredibleBank
The event is scheduled for October 24 in Houghton, Michigan, with activities centered at Kestner Waterfront Park and along the Keweenaw Waterway. It includes a main road race and a shorter youth run, and proceeds will be donated to the Copper Country Humane Society.
Distances
- 5K out and back on the waterfront bike path
- 1 mile Kids Dash out and back to the lift bridge
The 5K follows the waterfront path along the Houghton canal and Keweenaw Waterway as an out and back course. The turnaround point for the 5K is just past the Super 8 Motel and a water station will be available there. The kids course is an out and back on the same waterfront path to the lift bridge and back. All races begin and end at Kestner Waterfront Park.
Awards are planned for the top three individuals in both the men's and women's 5K fields. Packet pick up is available the day before the event and on race morning.
