QDR Jackson Heights Mile & Relay
The QDR Jackson Heights Mile & Relay takes place August 29, 2026 in Jackson Heights, NY at Northern Playground, 33-61 94th St. The event combines individual timed mile races, team relays, a kids dash, and a virtual mile option.
Event formats include:
- Age Grouper Mile 19 plus
- Age Grouper Mile 18 and under
- Competitive Mile
- Community Mile
- Relay Teams teams of four run one quarter mile each
- Kids 400M Dash untimed
- Virtual 1 Mile Run Walk 8/30 to 9/7
Registration options list a $30 fee for most timed mile entries, a $20 fee for relay teams, a free kids dash entry, and a $30 virtual mile entry. Processing fees may apply and member discounts are noted. All fees are non refundable.
The course runs south on 94th Street with a single right turn onto the south road of 34th Avenue. Quarter mile markers are at 91st, 86th, and 81st streets, with the finish near 76th Street. The route includes a slight incline near 82nd Street and a downhill for nearly the final 400 meters.
Race logistics include bib pickup at Travers Park on race day and mailed bibs for virtual participants. Baggage can be checked at Travers Park and will be returned in numerical order. Awards are given to top three M F X overall in each heat and top three in age groups 29 and under, 30 to 39, and 40 plus. Live online and same day results and photos are provided.
