QDR Jackson Heights Mile & Relay : August 29, 2026
The QDR Jackson Heights Mile & Relay is a community running event held at Northern Playground in Jackson Heights, NY. The program includes multiple timed mile races, a relay, a kids dash, and a virtual one-mile option. Registration categories include age-group and competitive divisions, team relay entries, and an untimed kids quarter-mile dash. There are member discounts for QDR and QDR+.

The course runs south on 94th Street with a single right turn onto the south road of 34th Avenue. There is a slight incline near 82nd Street and a mainly downhill final 400 meters, with quarter, half, and three-quarter markers noted along the route. Awards recognize the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers in each heat and top age-group finishers in defined brackets.
Logistics note that baggage may be checked at Travers Park at least 30 minutes before a runner's heat, and bib pickup is available at Travers Park on race day with early pickup details posted later.
