Runner's Edge Long Island Women's 5K Run/Walk : Farmingdale, NY
The Runner's Edge Long Island Women's 5K Run/Walk takes place on July 11, 2026 at the Farmingdale High School Track in South Farmingdale, NY. The main event is a certified 5 kilometer course that runs through tree lined streets of Farmingdale, starts and finishes at the high school, and finishes on the track. The course is USATF sanctioned and includes two water stations.

- 1/4 mile Kids Fun Run untimed, for ages 12 and under
Amenities listed for participants include a race shirt and a finisher medal, live online/text/email results, free finish line photos, personalized bibs if registered three weeks in advance, and postrace ice cream. A raffle called Runner’s Edge Cares About EveryRun will offer multiple prizes; entrants must be present to win. Awards include Runner's Edge gift cards for top overall finishers, top wheelchair, masters and senior masters, a memorial plaque for the fastest GLIRC member, and medals awarded in five year age groups up to 80+.
