Runner's Edge Long Island Women's 5K Run/Walk GLIRC 2027
This event is listed for South Farmingdale and centers on the Farmingdale High School venue. It features a main road race and a youth fun run and is conducted on a certified USATF course that starts and finishes at the high school, with the finish on the track and two water stations along the route.

Race amenities include a quality shirt, a finisher medal, Cosmos ice cream, live results delivered online/email/text, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for entrants who register three weeks in advance. An onsite raffle is administered by Runner’s Edge with prizes such as shoes, gift cards, and starter swag; winners must be present.
Prize awards include Runner’s Edge gift cards for top overall finishers and category winners, a wheelchair division prize, masters and senior masters awards, and the Paula Wunderlich Memorial Award for the fastest GLIRC member. Medals are awarded in five year age groups from 14 and under through 80 and over.
A portion of net proceeds supports Girls on the Run Long Island. Early bib pickup is available at the Runner’s Edge store in Farmingdale, with day of pickup on the track infield.
