Event Overview
The Puppy Creek Fire Department Run for a Cure 5K is a community event focused on supporting Hoke County residents. Course and Participation
The event is held at the Cape Fear Valley Hoke Hospital campus. Participants have the option to walk, jog, or run the course. This is a self-timed event rather than a chip-timed race. The following distance options are available:

Registration and Logistics
Participants who register by a specific early deadline are guaranteed an event t-shirt and a medal on race day. Registration remains open online until the day before the event, and walk-up registration is also available. Children aged 7 and under can participate without a fee, though they do not receive a shirt or medal.
The event takes place on the back lawn of the medical campus, which also serves as the parking location. For safety and coordination, the Hoke County Sheriff's Office and Hoke County EMS provide assistance during the proceedings.
