Punk Panther Ripon Stinger
Punk Panther Ripon Stinger is the second running of a trail event based at Studley Roger Village Hall near Ripon on 15 May 2027. The course mainly follows the Ripon Rowel route and passes wooded valleys and historic sites including the world heritage site of Fountains Abbey and Studley Water gardens. The ultra route also goes through the Valley of the Seven Bridges and uses parts of the River Skell valley; other views include St Margaret’s Church and Hackfall Woods.

- 13 miles (Half Marathon) : 750 ft climb, ITRA 0, UTMB Q20K
- 20 miles : 1750 ft climb, ITRA 1, UTMB Q20K
- 35 miles (Ultra) : 3500 ft climb, ITRA 2, UTMB Q50K
The event has a maximum of 200 entrants and a minimum age of 18. Checkpoints include locations at North Stainley, Masham (ultra only) and Skelding and provide water, soft drinks, snacks and a box for vegan and gluten free options. Ultramarathon entrants are supplied with a tracker; half marathon and 20 mile runners can hire a tracker for a fee. Support crews are permitted at checkpoints except CP3 Skelding. Finishers receive a medal and an event T shirt unless they opt out, and hot food and drinks are available at the finish.
Route GPX files and a route description are provided in advance and final instructions are issued before the event. A kit list applies to all distances and random kit checks will be carried out on course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
