Punk Panther Christmas Cracker
The Punk Panther Christmas Cracker is a trail running event held on 12 December 2026 in Otley, West Yorkshire, with routes that run into the surrounding Dales and offer wide views when weather permits. The event is limited to 100 entrants and the minimum age is 18.
Distances and climb:
- 12 miles - 1700 ft climb
- 19 miles - 2200 ft climb
- 32 miles (Ultra) - 3400 ft climb
The course includes three checkpoints that provide drinks, snacks and vegan and gluten free options. The 32 mile route visits CP1, CP2, CP1 again and CP3; the 19 mile route visits CP1 and CP3; the 12 mile route visits CP3 only. Arrivals after checkpoint closure will be retired from the race.
All ultramarathon entrants receive a tracker; 12 and 19 mile runners may hire a tracker for £15. Trackers are issued at registration, will be switched on and include an emergency button. The route is not taped; provisional GPX files and a route description are published and final instructions are emailed to competitors.
A mandatory kit list applies to all distances and random kit checks may be carried out on course; failure to carry required kit can lead to disqualification. Dogs may run subject to event rules, but dogs are not permitted at the finish area inside the church. Finishers receive a medal and event T-shirt unless they opt out; hot food and drinks are available at the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
