Punk Panther Christmas Cracker
Punk Panther Christmas Cracker is a trail running event in Otley on 12 December 2026 with multiple route options and checkpoint support. The event is limited to 100 entrants and has a minimum age of 18.
Distances and related details:
- 12 miles - 1700 ft climb; ITRA 0; UTMB none
- 19 miles - 2200 ft climb; ITRA 1; UTMB Q20K
- 32 miles - 3400 ft climb; ITRA 2; UTMB Q50K
There are three checkpoints used across the routes. The 32 mile course visits CP1, CP2, CP1 again and CP3; the 19 mile course visits CP1 and CP3; the 12 mile course visits CP3 only. Checkpoints offer drinks, bars, snacks and vegan and gluten free options. If a runner arrives after a checkpoint closes they will be retired from the race.
All ultramarathon entrants receive a tracker; 12 and 19 mile runners may hire a tracker for a fee. Trackers are issued at registration and include an emergency button that, if pressed when in range, requests help and ends the runner’s race.
A mandatory kit list applies to all distances and random kit checks will be carried out on course; failure to carry required kit may result in disqualification. Every finisher receives a medal and an event T shirt unless they opt out. Homemade hot food, hot drinks, snacks and mince pies are available at the finish. Dogs are allowed on the course subject to event rules but are not permitted inside registration or at the church finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
