Registration is at Pateley Bridge Cricket Club, Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire, HG3 5HQ and there are public car parks close to registration.
All entrants are supplied with a tracker at registration; the tracker is active on issue and includes an emergency button that, when used in range, signals for help and ends the race. Provisional GPX files and a route description are provided in advance; the final route files are emailed to competitors with the final instructions. The event will not be taped as it uses the well waymarked Nidderdale Way.
A mandatory kit list applies to all distances. There will be random kit checks on course and missing required kit may result in disqualification. Checkpoints provide water, cola and snacks, with a box for vegan and gluten free options. Support crews must avoid official checkpoints or the runner may be disqualified. Safety support runners and a buddy runner option are permitted under the event rules.
Finishers receive a medal and an event T shirt unless they opt out. Homemade hot food, with vegan and gluten free options, plus hot drinks and snacks, are available at the finish. Final competitor instructions are emailed the week before the event and results are published and updated during the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
