Punk Panther Nidderdale Way
Punk Panther Nidderdale Way is a trail ultramarathon held on Saturday 24 October 2026 along the Nidderdale Way in North Yorkshire. The route is a 55 mile loop that passes Ripley Castle, Brimham Rocks, Scar House Reservoir and How Stean Gorge and is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Registration is at Pateley Bridge Cricket Club, Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire, HG3 5HQ.
There are four distance options and each distance has associated climb, ITRA points and UTMB qualifications. Maximum entrants are 200 and the event had 36 participants entered at the time of this listing. Minimum age is 18.
All entrants are supplied with a tracker which must be worn; the tracker includes an emergency button and shows live positions on the event tracker. The route will not be taped as it follows the well waymarked Nidderdale Way. Provisional GPX files and a route description are provided in advance and the final version will be emailed with the final competitor instructions.
A standard kit list applies to all distances and random checks will be carried out on course; failure to carry required kit may lead to disqualification. Checkpoints along the route offer water, cola, energy bars, crisps and a box for vegan and gluten free options. Finishers receive a medal and an event T shirt unless they opt out.
