Punk Panther Autumn Headtorch Half
The event is a headtorch trail run around Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs, held on 6 October 2026 with the meeting point at Swinsty Moor Car Park. It offers multiple route options and has a maximum of 150 entrants. Registration takes place at the Punk Panther gazebo by the toilet block at the car park entrance. Toilets are available in the car park and the car park is pay and display for six hours, priced at £3 card only.
Distances and approximate climb per route:
- Half Marathon: Two laps of Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs, 800 ft climb
- 10 km: One lap of Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs, 400 ft climb
- 5 km: One lap of Swinsty Reservoir, 200 ft climb
The course will not be taped. A short race brief will be given after registration. Runners must carry a headtorch and a mobile phone with the race director’s number stored and switched on. Water is available at the Punk Panther gazebo after the first lap and at the finish. The finish line is at the edge of the woods before the road to the car park. Every finisher receives a medal. Final competitor instructions will be emailed to entrants before the event and results will be published online. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
