Burley Moor Run

The Burley Moor Run is an annual event held in November as part of the Burley in Wharfedale Summer Festival. The event is an off road run where muddy conditions are likely and runners of all abilities may take part.

The course is 11k along footpaths. Some sections are steep and uneven, and the route is well marked. Stewards will be available to guide and assist where required. The route goes from Scalebor Park up to the high point of Burley Moor near the Great Skirtful of Stones and then returns to Scalebor.

For the first time the run is being held under Fell Runners Association rules. The 2025 run is scheduled for Saturday 8 November. Entry fees are stated as £5 in advance and £6 on the day. Entries for 2025 are now closed and entry on the day is offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
