The Grim Reservoir Dogs
The Grim Reservoir Dogs is a dog-friendly trail event held at Swinsty & Fewston Reservoir car park in North Yorkshire. It is presented as part of a multi-day offering where entrants may take part on one or more days. The course follows looped routes around the reservoirs on mainly off-road paths.

The route is described as undulating with generally good quality trails and wide paths. The course is fully marshalled and clearly signed. Feed and drink stations are provided at approximately three mile intervals. Public toilets are available on site. Every finisher receives a bespoke race medal and there are dog rewards such as doggy treats for canine participants. Parking is located next to registration in a public pay-and-display car park and council parking charges may apply.
This event is a fun dog race and is not run under Canicross rules and regulations. The setting around Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs offers woodland trails and reservoir views throughout the looped course, providing a running experience that includes both trail surfaces and seasonal scenery.
