The Grim Reservoir Dogs - Swinsty & Fewston Reservoirs
The event takes place at Swinsty & Fewston Reservoir Car Park, North Lane, Otley LS21 2NP on 7 November 2026 and is organised by Its Grim Up North Running. It is a dog-friendly trail race that is not run under Canicross rules and regulations.
Participants can choose between two looped course options:
- 3.3 miles
- 6.7 miles
Both routes follow mainly off-road, well-maintained paths through woodland around the reservoirs. The terrain is described as undulating with wide trails and reservoir views. The course is fully marshalled and clearly signed. Feed and drink stations are provided at approximately three-mile intervals. Public toilets are available on site. Registration and parking are located at the reservoir car park; local pay-and-display charges may apply.
Every finisher receives a bespoke race medal and there are dog rewards on offer. Entry information indicates pricing in the range of £14–£25 depending on distance and early/standard rates, and entrants must be aged 16 or over on 07/11/2026.
