Event overview
Punch Out Ultra is an 8-hour timed trail event in Molino, Florida, on a private high-fence deer ranch. Entrants may register as individuals or as four-person teams. Registration closes Sat, Feb 7 @ 11:59PM CT. The event includes an individual division and a team division with awards for first through third place in each.
Course and format
The race is run on an out-and-back loop of about 4.2 miles per lap through ATV-style trails, pine-needle covered singletrack, sandy dirt roads, and grassy sections. Each lap is counted by a hole punch on the runner's bib; one punch equals one completed lap. A full aid station is located at the start/finish area and a water-only station is located at the turnaround. This is a cupless event; runners are asked to bring their own bottle or cup.
Rules and logistics
Teams must consist of exactly four members and each team member must complete at least one lap for the team to qualify. The event enforces an 8-hour time limit; laps not finished before the limit do not count. Runners must wear their assigned bib for the entire race and may not swap bibs. Runners must stay on the right side of the trail and follow conduct rules; littering, damaging property, harassing wildlife, or running off-trail can result in disqualification. Spectators will have limited access to much of the course; crew tents are allowed near the start/finish.
Additional details
A free kids race (.3 mile) is planned for ages 3-12 with an adult present required. Amenities include restrooms, a covered barn, space for tents, a food truck, and non-potable water. Runners who complete 50K (eight bib punches) receive a limited edition finisher challenge coin. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
