About the race
The Punch Out Ultra is an eight hour trail event held on a private high‑fence deer ranch near Molino, FL. The course uses an out-and-back loop that returns to a start/finish beside a pond and runs across pine-needle trails, sandy dirt roads, and grassy stretches. Wildlife, including mature whitetail deer, may be visible from the trail.
Participants may enter these formats:
- 8 hour team (teams of four)
- 8 hour individual
- Ruck division (20 lb required)
- Kids race (about 0.3 mile loop)
Each lap measures about 4.2 miles and is counted by a single hole punch in the bib at the finish. A full aid station is located at the start/finish and a water-only station sits at the turnaround; the event is cupless so runners should plan to use their own bottle or cup. Laps must be completed within the eight hour time limit to count; the final lap must be started at least 40 minutes before the time limit ends. Team rules require exactly four members or an individual entry, and each team member must complete at least one lap for the team to qualify.
On-site amenities include restrooms, a covered barn, non potable water, space for pop-up tents near the start/finish, a food truck, and a full aid station. On-site camping is not available; nearby free camping options are noted by the organizers. Awards are given to top finishers in team, individual, and ruck divisions, and runners who complete 28 miles or more receive a finisher coin.
