Event
Death by 5k Coldwater Creek takes place Saturday February 14 to Sunday February 15, 2026, in Milton, FL (8974 Tomahawk Landing Rd). The main event is a 24-hour challenge that requires participants to complete ten 5k loops over a 24-hour period, with each 5k starting 2.5 hours after the previous one. Race headquarters is at an on-site venue called The Barn.
Course and services
The course is a loop through the Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center property, running alongside Coldwater Creek. The route is mostly single track with many roots and some rocks, plus sections of ATV-packed sand roads. Hot meals are provided at multiple scheduled times, snacks are available throughout the event, and water and Gatorade are supplied.
Camping and on-site facilities
Participants may rest between 5k loops in a camping tent, hammock, under a pop-up tent, or in vehicles. Tent campsites are available in an adjacent grass field for $20 per tent, covering up to four people; the tent camping fee is collected at packet pick up. Tent sites are first come, first served and are within a short walk to the start area and race HQ.
Registration and swag
Initial registration is limited to 175 participants; a waitlist will open after that and additional entrants may be selected if slots open. The listed price for the 24 Hour Challenge is $155 and increases after December 31, 2025. Participants receive an event shirt and other swag; finishers receive a handmade finisher's coffin.
