Pumpkins in the Park 5K & Kids 1/2 Mile
The event is a Halloween-themed run at Cobb's Hill Park in Rochester, New York, on October 31, 2026. It includes in-person and virtual options.
The main race is a 5K. There is also an in-person Kids 1/2 Mile race for children aged 4 to 12.
In-person 5K entry includes a long-sleeve cotton t-shirt (if registered by October 11), a custom bib number, RFID timing with live results, a finisher medal, and post-race treats. The course is USATF certified and goes through the Cobbs Hill neighborhood. Kids in the 1/2 mile race receive a Halloween candy bag at the finish line and may get a pumpkin.
Virtual 5K entry includes a mailed long-sleeve shirt and finisher medal (within the US), a digital bib, an online results platform, and a printable finisher certificate. Virtual participants can complete their run or walk anywhere between October 31 and November 8, 2026.
There are overall and age group awards for the in-person 5K. The top three male and female finishers receive cash prizes. Packet pickup is available the day before the race at a local store or on race morning at the park.
