About the race
Pumpkins in the Park 5K & Kids 1/2 Mile takes place at Cobbs Hill Park in Rochester, NY. The event offers a family-friendly, Halloween-themed atmosphere, with costumes encouraged. The 5K course provides views of the city from one of Rochester's highest points, winding through the Cobbs Hill neighborhood, up the Reservoir, and finishing on the grass near Culver Road; a hilly but scenic USATF-certified route.
A Kids 1/2 Mile race for ages 4-12 runs on the grass near the same finish. The event is part of the Fleet Feet Grand Prix Series, with medals, shirts, cash prizes, and in-person or virtual options. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
