The Prudhoe Town Road Races take place on 30 August 2026 at Prudhoe Town Football Club, 10 Broomhouse Road, Prudhoe, NE42 5EH (what3words: prestige.scavenger.extra). The event is a road-closed fixture. Entry fees are listed between £12 and £24. A bespoke event T-shirt is available for an additional £12. Parking at the football club is limited and cars parked there cannot leave until the event finishes. Alternative parking options include Eastwoods Park Car Park, nearby roads, and the Aldi at Low Prudhoe Industrial Estate. Registration opens 26/09/2025 and closes 19/08/2026.
Race information
- 2 km – children aged 8–11
- 5 km – anyone aged 11+
- 10 km – anyone aged 15+
The 5 km and 10 km use new, flatter out-and-back routes that start and finish at the football club and run through Low Prudhoe Industrial Estate. Both distances are accurately measured and will appear on Power of 10. Timing is by live chip-timing provided by Timing Up North. Due to road closures there is a 90-minute cut-off for the 5 km and 10 km races. The event is not Cani-Cross friendly. Finishers receive the following: 5 km and 10 km - medal, Wild Deer merchandise, coffee/tea and a breakfast roll; 2 km - medal, merchandise, drink and snack.
