Prudhoe Town Road Races 2026
Prudhoe Town Road Races take place on 30 August 2026 at Prudhoe Town Football Club, 10 Broomhouse Road, Prudhoe NE42 5EH. The event is a road-closed series of races organised in conjunction with Prudhoe Town Council and Prudhoe Town Football Club.
Distances include:
- 2 km – Children aged 8 to 11
- 5 km – Anyone aged 11 and over
- 10 km – Anyone aged 15 and over
The 5 km and 10 km routes start and finish at Prudhoe Town Football Club and run out and back through Low Prudhoe Industrial Estate. Organisers describe the 5 km and 10 km courses as flatter routes. Both distances are accurately measured and will appear on Power of 10.
Cani-Cross is not permitted at this event. There is a 90 minute cut off for the 5 km and 10 km races because of road closures. Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North.
Finishers receive on-course or post-race items: 5 km and 10 km finishers will receive a medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a hot drink with a breakfast roll. 2 km finishers will receive a medal, merchandise, a drink, and a snack. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
