Event overview
Prudhoe Miners Road Races take place on Sunday 30 August 2026 at Prudhoe Town Football Club, 10 Broomhouse Road, Prudhoe, NE42 5EH (what3words: prestige.scavenger.extra). The event uses road closures and is organised in conjunction with Prudhoe Town Council and Prudhoe Town Football Club. The 5 km and 10 km courses are out-and-back routes through Low Prudhoe Industrial Estate and are described as flatter, accurately measured, and listed on Power of 10. The event is not Cani-Cross friendly. Due to road closures there is a 90-minute cut-off for the 5 km and 10 km races. Live chip-timing is provided by Timing Up North.
Race details
Distances and age eligibility:
- 2 km - Children aged 8–11
- 5 km - Anyone aged 11+
- 10 km - Anyone aged 15+
Finish items:
- 5 km and 10 km finishers receive a medal, event merchandise, coffee or tea, and a breakfast roll.
- 2 km finishers receive a medal, merchandise, a drink, and a snack.

- A bespoke event T-shirt is available for £12.00.
- Parking at Prudhoe Football Club is limited; cars parked there cannot leave until the event finishes. Alternative parking locations include Eastwoods Park Car Park, nearby roads, and the Aldi at Low Prudhoe Industrial Estate.
- Registration opens 26/09/2025 and closes 19/08/2026. Prices listed: 5 km £20, 10 km £24, 2 km £12; options with T-shirt are priced higher.
