Prudhoe Town Road Races 2026
Prudhoe Town Road Races take place at Prudhoe Town Football Club and use road-closed routes through Low Prudhoe Industrial Estate. The event offers measured running distances and live chip timing provided by Timing Up North.
The event includes three age-specific distances:
- 2 km - Children aged 8 to 11
- 5 km - Entrants aged 11 and over
- 10 km - Entrants aged 15 and over
The 5 km and 10 km courses are described as flatter out and back routes that start and finish at the football club. Both distances are accurately measured and will appear on Power of 10. A 90 minute cut off applies to the 5 km and 10 km races because the roads are closed.
Cani-Cross is not permitted at this event. Finishers receive small event items: 5 km and 10 km finishers are listed as receiving a medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and refreshments including coffee or tea and a breakfast roll; 2 km finishers receive a medal, merchandise, a drink, and a snack. There is an optional bespoke event T shirt available for an additional fee. Parking at Prudhoe Town Football Club is limited while the roads are closed and alternative parking locations are suggested. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
